We were blessed (and surprised) with another beautiful baby girl on January 4, 2013. She is perfect and Big Sister Reese is doing great!

Congrats Linds! Yes, we swaddle but in that picture I was trying to wean him of it by leaving an arm out. It didn't really work, he is still being swaddled. I hope all is well in your house. I look forward to meeting Alex!

Reese at 6 months

Reese at 5 months

Loves her Playstation - gets scared by the penguin every time
Tries to talk and loves to smile and talk to herself in the mirror
Started to like having her blankie with her
Will let out a good belly laugh for dad...harder for mom to get her to laugh
Tries to roll around on her changing table - hard to change her diaper these days
Found her toes and tries to chew on them too
Started chewing on Sophie all the time
Started spitting up and drooling
Tries to hold her bottle while eating
Takes 2-3 naps a day - ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours
Tried rice cereal - not sure about it
Started noticing Charlie and Henry...and pulling their fur
Loves to hang out on the porch with mom and dad on Saturday and Sunday mornings
Started going for runs with mom and dad in her big girl stroller (BOB)
Sat up for a little bit on her own on 7/8
Loves to roll around and try to sit up
Loves bath time - started playing with toys in the bath
Had second inner ear infection...thanks daycare!
Eats 30 oz a day - 5 x 6 oz bottles of formula
Wears size 3 nighttime diapers and size 2 diapers during the day
Still sleeps from 7/730 to 6/630

Reese at 4 months

Loves to sit in bumbo chair
Rolls over from back to front and then front to back immediately when put on playmat
Height: 26 inches
Weight: 16 pounds 4 oz.
Loves Splash Wednesday's at school
Started wearing night time diapers
Wears size 2 diapers
Wears 3-6 month clothing
Loves to hang out with mom on Saturday and Sunday mornings
Moved to 9oz bottles
Started taking pacifier all the time
Tries to put anything she can in her mouth, fingers, toys, hair, sophie...
Only laughs the first time we try peekaboo
Tries to use her tongue to blow raspberries
Loves to hold bottle while eating
Eats 25-27 oz per day
Takes 3 naps per day, lasting 30 minutes to 2 hours
Had first inner ear infection
Goes to bed 7/730 and sleeps until 6/630

Started taking the pacifier more regularly
Loves to "stand" on mommy and daddy's laps
She is so happy in the mornings
We love to watch her stretch in the morning after we unswaddle her
Goes to bed between 9 and 10 pm
Makes lots of noises "talking"
Still hates tummy time
Loves her playmat
Sucks on her fingers and has less jerky movements with your arms
Started to try and roll over in her crib
Still loves her changing table and smiles and looks around
Started liking baths
We started a bedtime routine around 4 weeks - bath, massage, cuddle, nurse, and rock to sleep after being swaddled
Never stays awake for more than 2 hours at a time
Nap about 3-4 times a day, averaging 30 min. to 2 hours
Started sleeping in her crib at 6 weeks
Longest stretch of sleep at night was 6 hours
Sleeps about 14 hours a day, averaging 4-5 hour stretches at night
Height: 23 3/4 inches
Weight: 13 pds. 9 oz.
